Hi, I’m Divya Rathi-Aggarwal, the founder and creative force behind Butter & Batter. What started as a fun experiment—baking boxed cakes for my nephews—has grown into a journey of artistry, resilience, and connection. From whipping up cakes for birthdays and anniversaries to exploring cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, and macarons inspired by The Great British Baking Show, baking has been my creative outlet and constant companion.

My South Asian heritage deeply influences my craft, inspiring me to blend bold, nostalgic flavors with the elegance of French patisserie. Imagine the vibrant essence of paan, thandai, or coconut burfi captured in the delicate crunch and chew of a macaron—every bite tells a story, connecting past and present in the most delicious way.

Self-taught and endlessly curious, I left behind the structured path of an Ivy League education and corporate life to embrace my dream of entrepreneurship. Butter & Batter is my love letter to the joy desserts bring, the memories it evokes, and the connections it inspires.
